It's The Great LifeCycle of Information, Charlie Brown.

Based on the power point presentation Dr. Sloane presented to us at the beginning of Info Science in Librarianship, we can see how information is both sequential and circular. As I will be focusing on just one aspect of the information lifecycle: Disseminating infomation, I will use Dr. Sloane's presentation to help guide me in this area. Her suggestions were to focus on: materials circulation, web design, interface design. This will hopefully give way to other areas of examination for this blog.

Do you think the circle's mention of perseverance is what keeps ol' Chuck going after the football or the hope of "achievement?"

I loved this model- I never realized so many different processes were a part of information gathering and processing! No wonder our high schoolers get confused... they have no frame of reference like this, and their teachers don't even understand all of the processes consciously.
